  1. My name is Stephanie Greenland and my son Benjamin has cortical vision impairment. He attends an online public school which has been very benefitial to his learning this year. However, we are trying to find a vision specialist to work with him. As of now, he does not have one. We live in Oklahoma. Do you know the process that usually takes place in locating a cvi specialist?

Thank you for your time, Stephanie.

    1. The teacher for students with visual impairments is the person who should evaluate the child’s functional vision using the Roman CVI Range, the only assessment available. If you get one assigned to you through the schools (and you should!) ask if they understand CVI and what training they have.
