What is CVI?

CVI stands for Cortical or Cerebral Visual Impairment, a brain based visual impairment. Though we can’t guarantee improvement for every child, the condition has the great possibility for improvement when a child has carefully crafted environmental and learning strategies to support increased vision use and discrimination using vision in concert with compensatory skills.
